The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IsO technicalcommittees.Eachmemberbodyinterestedinasubjectforwhichatechnical committeehasbeen non-governmental, in liaison with iso, also take part in the work. Iso collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
